                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK OF THE 
                   COUNCIL TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH MARLENE 
                   BROWN UNTIL JUNE 30, 1995, FOR PART-TIME 
                   SERVICES AS AN ASSISTANT TO COUNCILPERSONS 
                   AT A RATE OF SIX AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($6.00) 
                   PER HOUR WITH MAXIMUM HOURS WORKED PER WEEK 
                   NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-FOUR (24).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Clerk of the Council be and is 
       hereby authorized to extend the Contract with Marlene Brown until 
       June 30, 1995, for part-time services as an assistant to 
       Councilpersons at a rate of $6.00 per hour with maximum hours 
       worked per week not to exceed twenty-four (24).
